A large number of press and media hover around the CW Warehouse on Hollywood BLVD. Reporters and camera persons hover around Lani Coté who is left to do all the busy press work. Meanwhile, within the walls of the Warehouse we find Commissioner Callahan and Founder of CW, Ethan Roerich at ringside. Roerich sits on the ring steps gazing out at the empty arena, deep in thought. Jack Callahan reaches into a nearby cooler and finds left over drinks floating in water and ice. He grabs a bottle of water and takes a swig before stepping over into Roerich’s area near the ring steps.ETHAN ROERICH: What are we going to do Jack?
Jack stands quietly.
ETHAN ROERICH: The news of the TV Deal is huge. We were doing so good Jack. Sativa is trying to take us for everything. Her lawyers are coming at us hard. The Dispensary deals we have with her, all tie into CW the Promotion. We’ve still got the dealins in Tijuana as well to finalize. This may interfere with the outcome of that as well.
Jack, lost of words just takes another swig of his water and runs some thoughts through.
JACK CALLAHAN: When it comes to Sativa we can’t give in. We have to bring our own lawyers that we’ve had on retainer since the beginning in and you know who I’m talking about.
Jack pauses for a minute trying to digest everything else.
JACK CALLAHAN: The promotions will be figured out with the lawyers we have. The Tijuana dealings are the one I’m most concerned about. We need those. Those we’ve been trying to get for a while.
Jack takes a deep breath and while looks straight faced, as always is worried inside.
ETHAN ROERICH: I’ve got to come up with a plan Jack.
Jack gives the “I’m all ears” look.
ETHAN ROERICH: Without the Adult Swim deal, we have to search for networks and streaming and that could take forever. So my idea is to mesh ICWA with CW.
JACK CALLAHAN: What do you mean?
ETHAN ROERICH: Honor CW talent's salary for less work. They can train the ICWA talent and prepare them for the future, while only being booked for specified events. Give them a lighter workload, with less physically demanding work. As long as they promote us in every way, their following will bring us the revenue we need and we can build off of the names we already have.
JACK CALLAHAN: Like our own distribution? Do we have funds for that?
ETHAN ROERICH: No. But we do have funds to pay our production crew. We will film all of our events from around the world and create a package to sale to an investor to help distribute.
JACK CALLAHAN: You mean, like sale the rights?
ETHAN ROERICH: More so or less. We make a larger sum overall.
JACK CALLAHAN: What about ICWA?
ETHAN ROERICH: We film their training as a reality series! Chronicle the day to day of becoming a pro wrestler. We can air it the same way. The strategy works well within the same plan for getting the CW events sold. It is needed.
Jack raises an eyebrow.
JACK CALLAHAN: I like the sound of that.
Ethan rises from his seated position on the ring steps.
ETHAN ROERICH: Call me crazy, but I think this can work. It will bring us the publicity we need while keeping our talent fresh and happ--
JACK CALLAHAN: What about, sorry to cut you off. What about Britney?
ETHAN ROERICH: What about her?
JACK CALLAHAN: The less she’s on television, the bigger issues I feel we are going to have.
ETHAN ROERICH: The SE Network.
Callahan cracks a grin and his soul nearly leaps from his body.
ETHAN ROERICH: Exactly.
JACK CALLAHAN: The SE Network has more than just wrestling on it.
ETHAN ROERICH: Kross and Anders can do a lot in the acting world I believe, same for a few others.
JACK CALLAHAN: Do you think ICWA talent can handle such a task? It’ll be mostly on them.
ETHAN ROERICH: No it wont. It’s still on us. We have to ensure that current CW Talent teaches ICWA talent properly. The ICWA will be the bulk of our events where as high stakes CW championship matches will headline and define our shows. I think Herrera will enjoy the high flying action of the Bruiserweight division.
JACK CALLAHAN: It certainly isn’t a bad idea. May I suggest we add another element to the Bruiserweight division?
ETHAN ROERICH: I am always open to suggestions.
JACK CALLAHAN: Well, I would assume, both the ICWA Heavyweight Division and the Bruiserweight division. First, allow me to explain the Bruiserweight division has grown in popularity due to the context and style of the match types, so I think it will be beneficial to us if we add one more element. Let’s add a little dose of hardcore to our already popular take on smaller competitors with strengths in strong style.
Ethan raises an eyebrow. Intrigued, he raises his finger and motions for Callahan to be quiet. Callahan slowly quiets himself.
ETHAN ROERICH: I love those idea, but we must take things one step at a time. First, let’s make this call to Mr. Stanton right away, and then I would like for you to make a call to the Herreras.
JACK CALLAHAN: What am I supposed to say to Mr. Stanton?
ETHAN ROERICH: Don’t say a word, just listen in and speak when spoken to. We have a video call and some strict negotiations to make.
Jack and Ethan begin walking away from the ring when Lani Coté appears, exhausted, she sips from a bottled water.
ETHAN ROERICH: Just the woman I was looking for. Get a hold of Bonecrusher and Tap, let them know we will be booking their talent on our next event as well. You’ve got quite the event to book Lani. We trust you.
Jack and Ethan hurry away to the offices in the back leaving Lani in the aisle between the stage and the ring.
