CALIFORNIA WRESTLING falls under the category of a NEW-AGED HYBRID Federation. Our wins/losses are determined via COMPETITIVE ROLEPLAYS and judging based on a simple rubric to determine our WINNERS. The roleplay limit is (1) and the max word limit is (1500 Words). In the event of a tournament, matches are conducted under MICRO-RP standards and there is a 2 RP LIMIT in effect with a 750 Word Max for Tournament Events. We often hold 1 Night Only Tournaments.

CW has a independent-cult like feel to it's events. Tickets are sold and events are taped in private locations for rich business men and women around the world. The CW Waehouse is the headquarters and basis of all operations which is also connected to the marchandising plant and headquarters where all CW business is handled. We are located in Hollywood, California on Hollywood Boulevard, just south of the El Capitan Theater. The fans get rowdy but never too out of hand, they want to be entertained and have paid top dollar to be entertained. With Ethan Roerich at the helm of the company as the Head Booker and Promoter and the creator and founder of California Wrestling. The goal is to attract top tier talent to aid in the success of the brand. We like original stories, original characters, and good attitudes. We want to incorporate fun, intelligence, and creative genius into all our collaborations in an attempt to make CW a fed as rememberable and as love-able as past federations while bringing a unique spark and quality that can set CW apart as it's own solid promotion in the world of ewrestling.

SEGMENT & ROLEPLAY DEADLINE(S): WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON @ 11:59AM (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME) this allows half of the day on Wednesday to get all segments sbmitted, edited for show and placed into the event as needed.

Structuring of the Event Set-Up/Lay-Out:

All CW events are taped events, sometimes inside the CW Warehouse if needed. It is a decent sized warehouse with two stories, locker rooms, bathrooms, and concession stands.

- CW always airs HOUSE SHOWS in the week between every televised taping.

- The House Show events are titled "OPEN HOUSE" and at these events one or two matches are booked but most of the event is treated as a big fundraising event where pet adoptions are sponsored and take place, the homeless are fed, music festivals and or screenings happen, and all of it is done in part with CW's marketing plan.

- It is how CW makes a large portion of it's money to keep talent happy and the business booming.

- This interaction with youth groups, mental health organizations and health organization as a whole bring a positive outlook to everything the CW does.

- These OPEN HOUSE EVENTS ARE NOT BOOKED WITH AN OFFICIAL CARD. No roleplaying will be required.

- Tweets go out about the event and the events are mentioned and referenced during segments in results.

- In the event that a handler is booked at an Open House event, the handler's character will be booked against an enhancement talent and the handler will always pick up the victory over the enhancement talent, and this is considered an automatic win for all talent signed to a CW contract.

|RULE OF THUMB|
1. Have fun! This is a game based on collaborative writing and team work.

2. Only Created Wrestlers/Original Characters will be accepted into the promotion.

3. All contracts are final and may not be renewed or modified until the contract period has ended.

4. Be respectful to one another that goes for both staff and handlers.

5. CW is a NEW-AGE HYBRID, where all stories/feuds winners are decided in roleplay competition. RP LIMIT is 1. Word Count Max is 1,500 Words.

6. No plagarism. No harassment. No racism. There is a no tolerance policy here.

7. No use of characters without permissions of other handlers.

8. If you have an issue with a handler or staff member please do your best to look beyond it and ONLY discuss it with the staff head so that we can try to diffuse the situation as soon as possible or before it ever has a chance to become a situation.

9. Communication is key around here. No penalities or impartial bias' will be given to anyone, we just ask that you keep us informed whether you can rp or can't. If you can't send your segment in time, let us know. We are flexible and staff will work with you.

10. California Wrestling will book Babyfaces against Heels 95% of the time. We allow 1 Neutral Character/Gimmick(Ex: Sting, Undertaker, Bray Wyatt..This is also determined by CW MGMT) and that is reserved for the person considered without a doubt to be the MOST OVER with the CW Audience in Kayfabe sense. This is to keep unique and better story telling, build to feuds and the endings of storyliness at a entertaining level. Management will work with you in finding a direction for your character and whether you would be better suited as a Babyface or a Heel.

CW holds 6 Shows before a super-card is booked. Each event is bi-weekly and this allows all participants time thotoughly form a feud and storyline successfully..

|CONTRACTS|
Contracts are truly negotiated and we will spend as much time as needed to get them right. Below is an example of how the contracts would work. If you are a newly created character with no history and/or no proof of your history as a wrestler you will be handed as basic of a contract as we can find. In any and all contracts we do not guarantee championship runs, but depending on the character’s history/creditbility, etc. some guaranteed championship ooportunities are possible.

(all contract money offers are estimated and are the MAX CAP of each contract level. In special cases payment can exceed the given max cap limit. Most money acquired is tax free and all talent are indepedent contracts. Upon signing with CW please note that %12 of your total contract amount is taken and donated to organizations, health groups, starving childrens, homeless sponsorships, cancer research centers, and solar energy research. This is a requirement by CW and the California State Legislature.)

A big part of the grading process. Can the judge(s) tell the writer is relating to what has been happening on the shows? Can the judge(s) noticeably see the writer have read the shows in full, does it all relate to California Wrestling and ongoing storylines, feuds, angles, etc?
