The words 'A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland' fill the screen in pink, bubble styled text, signaling the reality starlet's newest episode is beginning. The star of the show, Scarlett Highland is standing on a red, white, and blue platform in a matching red, white, and blue two piece bikini. Surrounding her, on the makeshift set in the outdoors, are as many 'extras' or fans that could fit into the camera shot. The camera zooms in on the wrestler turned reality star who is smiling ear to ear.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"What's up everybody? Okay, so today's episode of my show is all about avoiding the blaze, or burn. Unless you're living under a rock, you would know that my upcoming opponent at California Wrestling's super show "Starrpower" is none other than Desmond Masters. Better known as 'The Blaze'. Well today, I will show you three ways of avoiding a Blaze, or a burn. Are you guys ready? Well let's get started!"
Scarlett steps to the edge of the platform. The camera shows what is just ahead of the platform: Smoldering hot coal.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"The first way to avoid a blaze is to walk over burning hot coal, bare foot. Now, most of you might think this is crazy, but I promise that I'll be fine."
The camera pans down to Scarlett's bare feet as they tip toe near the edge of the platform. It moves up to her face as she takes a deep breath.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Okay. On the count of three I'm going to do this. Here we go."
After psyching herself up, Scarlett holds a finger up to signal each count. The fans chant along with her.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"ONE...TWO...THREE!"
As the starlet reaches the count of three, the platform slowly lifts and begins extending itself as Highland smiles. With the platform a good three feet over top of the burning hot coal, Scarlett walks across the platform, and over the coal, raising both hands in the air as she clears the coal.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"And there you have it, the first way to avoid a Blaze. Walking OVER burning hot coal! Yay me!"
Scarlett motions to someone off camera as the bikini clad wrestler steps off the platform and onto a yoga style mat while still outdoors.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Okay, the second way to avoid the Blaze involves a lighter. As you know, lighters are often used to light nasty cigarettes or, other smokeable things..."
She mouths 'is that a word?' to someone off camera, but shrugs before continuing.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Anyways, lighters give off flames, or fire, that can obviously cause a burn. Today, I will show you how to avoid a burn or blaze using a lighter. Are you guys ready?"
Highland pauses, as the fans around her all chant out 'yeeeeah!'. One of the producers of her show hands her an orange lighter. Scarlett looks at the wheel of the lighter which is used to bring up the flame.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Okay peeps, I'm going to put this lighter on my wrist and still, somehow, avoid a burn. Here goes nothing!"
Scarlett never uses her thumb to ignite the flame on the lighter. Instead, she simply puts the usually hot end, which is now as cool as the outside breeze, onto her wrist. The 22 year old smiles and then tosses the lighter into the crowd as fans frenzy and swarm for the prop used during the show.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"There we go! That's how you avoid a blaze using a lighter! Come on guys, you know this is impressive! I'm two for two! And now, I have ONE MORE demonstration for you!"
Scarlett shakes her finger.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Well, this won't be an actual demonstration, but more of a declaration. The third way to avoid a Blaze? Face Desmond Masters in California Wrestling! If you want to see an actual demonstration, watch the most recent episode of Walk of Fame to see Seth Lawless put him down for the three count. Seth wasn't burned, The Blaze wasn't hot enough, and I can promise each and every one of you less beautiful people than me that he won't be hot enough to blaze me up either!"
Some of the fans boo now as they realize she just took a shot at them. Highland stands confident in all of her glory as she shows off the body that has garnered her most of her 'viewers' or fanbase.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Let's talk about why I'm going to walk out with my hand raised at Starrpower on January 12th, shall we? Okay. First, come on. The event is called STARRPOWER...who's a bigger star? Desmond or me? That's pretty much a rhetorical question because I'm a reality star and I have my own show. So clearly, I have him beat in the star power category. How about in-ring talent? Well, considering I was the first EVER Liberty Pro Trials champion, and the best champion to ever hold that title, my talent speaks for itself. What is Desmond's biggest accomplishment? Talking a good game and failing to back it up? Yeah, I have him beat again."
Scarlett runs a hand through her long hair in a carefree manner while pressing her lips together in a confident pout.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"And we can't talk about a match without talking about the all important confidence factor. Desmond is coming into our match after suffering a loss in his debut. Regardless of whether he will admit it or not, that has to wear on him mentally. You will be looking across the ring at one of the most confident wrestlers in CW, and I'm going to be HYPE! This is my big debut at the first huge event of 2019. Believing in yourself is key, it's clutch, boo, and nobody believes in their own ability more than I do."
Scarlett turns around in a full circle, showing herself off to all of the fans in attendance.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"Finally, we both know it mister Blazington, you want to get your hands on me, but you don't want to hurt me. When we are face to face on January 12th, you're going to be mesmerized by my beauty, by the way I carry myself, by the smell radiating off of my body. You're going to be distracted, but me? I'll be focused on taking you out once and for all. You can't beat me, Desy!"
Scarlett, clearly proud of herself, puts both hands on her hips.
SCARLETT HIGHLAND:
"So there you have it, three ways to avoid a Blaze like Scarlett Highland. Just another day in my life, a life that none of you can live, but all of you can experience. I want to thank everyone for coming out, and I want to invite all of you to tune into STARRPOWER on January 12th to watch me extinguish the Blaze, for good."
Highland glares at the camera as her reality show logo flashes over the screen before it fades to black.
