The source of the voice reveals it was obviously Marshall Coté, one-half of the voice of California Wrestling. He held open the door to the venue for his half sister to enter.
Lani: Of course I did, I got a job to do! Nothing's gonna keep me from doing this. Ethan Roerich entrusted me with this high profile position, he went out on a limb for me and I’m going to prove he was right in giving me this chance!
Marshall: I guess, but I can’t imagine anyone would have been upset given what happened to you at No Love Lost. I know I wouldn’t.
Lani: And? This show ain’t gonna run itself boo! I knew it would be difficult when I accepted the job, and I knew it would have some risks. I may not have been ready for all that to go down, but what am I supposed to do, cry about it? Hell no, I’ma just pick myself up, dust myself off, and get back to business. And Marshall, we got a lotta business to tend to tonight!
Marshall: Right, the King of the Mountain match with some very apt competitors...and Brady Vega.
Lani: Marsh...don’t go there. Don’t stoop to his level, let’s be professional. Brady earned this opportunity as much as any other just by virtue of escaping certain defeat at Samantha’s own hand. You don’t have to like him, hell it’s clear he’s made it very easy for people to not like him. But this isn’t personal, and I’m gonna need you to call it down the middle.
Marshall stood back from his sister, his head shaking slowly.

Marshall stares at Lani. She remained firm, almost demanding an acknowledgement from her brother.

We open up to a wrestling ring built on top of the Venice Beach Pier with high rising bleachers surrounding the ring. A maximum capacity of 2,200 for this special event all fill up the giant circus tent that covers them and holds up the lighting structures. Cameras take us to the special commentators desk with the Puroresu III logo printed on it.
M. COTÉ: WELCOME LADIE AND GENTLEMEN! COME ONE.. COME ALL... IT'S TIME TO BRAWL!!!
K. MINX: Welcome folks to the third ever, Puroresu showcase!! Tonight's card is stacked with some excellent talent.
M. COTÉ: Sativa Neveah makes her debut in CW against RJ Mitchell who is also making her debut into CW!
K. MINX: Melody Marshall makes her in-ring return and is looking to get her Hollywood Heritage championship, formely known as the California Heritage championship belt when she held it. Marshall has been out of action with an injury that has taken some time to heal, both times she was still champion and--
M. COTÉ: Whoa. Whoa. Wrong! She lost to Kendrick Kross the first time. Sure she got injured, but she still lost.
K. MINX: The finish was a little fishy. But anyways. We also will crown our first ever Immortal Icon Champion tonight and we will also be witnessing another tag team wrestling spectacular in a triple threat match between well...
M. COTÉ: Between the three teams that will and have single handedly built the CW Republic Division by themselves! That's right, The Toku Addiction, The Dark, and Team A.T.A.R.I. will battle in a triple threat tornado tag team match later tonight and it's going to be match of the freaking year. You ust watch!
Melody Marshall arrives to the Warehouse at the same time that Olivia Areano is entering the building from a stopped car that was letting her off. Olivia has her face contoured but no eye shadow as she approaches. Both women stop in front of the door and glance each other over.
OLIVIA AREANO: “I should really have you open the door for me but I wouldn't want any hard feelings before I mop the CW wrestling canvas with your face.”
Melody Marshall grins and cracks her knuckles.
MELODY MARSHALL: “That's a nice championship. It will look better over my shoulder.”
Olivia looks at the Hollywood Heritage Championship on her shoulder. She adjusts it slightly before looking back at Melody with a smug look.
Olivia Areano: "This championship has already been dirtied enough by other undeserving people such as yourself. Just look at you…”
We see Olivia looking at Melody up, down even around.
Olivia Areano: "Is this what a champion should look like?"
Melody adjusts her black windbreaker and rubs her hands on her blue jeans. She lets out a small chuckle before speaking.
MELODY MARSHALL: “Eh, I think I look quite fancy today.”
The arrogant former champion reaches into the pocket of her windbreaker and pulls out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.
MELODY MARSHALL: “I wouldn’t expect you to know what a real champion looks like before, let’s be honest, you would rather get off looking at yourself in a mirror than actually put the time in to be a halfway decent wrestler. Thankfully, I get to take that title from you tonight. So, I’m going to walk away and go half a smoke before I punch that little face of yours into a million pieces. See ya later, barbie doll...Oh and before I forget, I have a coupon in my car for half off at the ICWA Academy. It’s for beginners but maybe you could learn a thing or two. I hear there is a great new trainer their!”
Melody winks and disappears into the building.

Desmond Masters -vs- Legion -vs- Hayley Halsey
This triple threat match was hard fought and well worth watching. In the end it was Hayley Halsey who picked up the victory over Desmond Masters after hitting her 'So Ridiculous" corkscrew moonsault. Legion was cose to breaking up the count but just bareyl misses and the is already calling for the bell.

MONTANA GRACE: Tonight's event has been good and it's only looking to get better. In a few minutes we will see RJ Mitchel compete against Sativa Nevaeh in a exhibition contest on CW soil and Sativa we're all wondering, what was going through your mind when you and RJ got into that fight in the crowd at No Love Lost?
SATIVA NEVAEH: Well, she had some rather choice words for me in a promo video she released for a rumble match we were both in. I didn't get the chance to show her what I thought about it then. When I saw her there I figured I'd give her a little taste of what she deserved.
MONTANA GRACE: So, with this bleeding over into CW turf, how do you feel about tonight's contest? Do you see RJ Mitchell as a credible threat? Or is she merely someone in your path that you are settling a grudge with?
SATIVA NEVAEH: If I didn't take people as a credible threat I wouldn't have lasted as long as I have. RJ is the leader of a biker gang, club, whatever. She's obviously tough. But that doesn't mean I'm not tougher. She wants to try and call out my short comings as faults and weakness. They have made me stronger than I was before. No matter how much I get pushed or knocked downed I get back up. I don't have a perfect life, sure. But steel is forged in fire, not ice.
MONTANA GRACE: Are you nervous going into this match?
SATIVA NEVAEH: Not really. It's a match. It'll be a fight for sure, but that's what I live for.

Another future nominee for match of the year, this was an uphill battle for the returning Melody Marshall as she was targeted heavily by Olivia Areano and Britney Anders in the early going. The champion and Anders make their plan known, "Destroy Melody Marshall" and do it fast. After sending Marshall into the post and then throwing her against the ring steps, Olivia Areano turns on Anders with a thumb to the eye and follpowing it up with a double underhook suplex on the outside. This match spends very little time in the ring as Britney runs away from Olivia every chance she gets. The crowd boo heavily and chant for Melody as Olivia just waits in the ring, catching her breath. Britney tries to slide back into the ring but she quickly slides back out as soon as Olivia Areano steps up.
The frustration obvious in Olivia Areano's demeanor after five minutes of Britney's antics, Areano finally just slides out of the ring and starts chasing Anders. Britney slides out of the way just as Melody leaps off the ring steps and MM latches onto the champion killing all of her momentum and driving her to the mats via a tornado ddt on the outside. The fans go nuts as a pissed off Melody Marshall rises to her feet and tells Britney Anders to "Bring It!".
Anders of course runs away and Melody chases her, taking the bait. Anders tries to slide under the ring but Marshall catches her by the foot and drags her out, much to the pleasure of the fans. Melody pulls Anders to her feet and sends her flying into the guard rail via a fallaway slam. The crowd gets behind Melody Marshall heavily and the former champion shows why she has so much influence and keeps the crowd happy after she hits Olivia Areano with a BOMB DOT COM(V Trigger) as soon as she leaps through the ropes and attempts a suicide dive.

The Dark© -vs- The Toku Addiction -vs- Team A.T.A.R.I.
The craziest match of the evening and definitely one to steal the show. Dona Rotten and Equinox defend the Republic Championships in a Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match against The Toku Addiction and Team A.T.A.R.I. It was a symphony of wrstling delight from the moment the bell rang. Team A.T.A.R.I. single handled kept the mometum in their favor with their fast paced offense moves. 7800 kept the opponents grounded after 2600's initial strikes and high flying arsenal. Doom was made a reality for Team A.T.A.R.I. after 7800 catapults 2600 over the top rope and to the outside, only to have Geki Nitoh plant a solid V Trigger-like knee strike to the face. The crowd pops at the sight of this and they get even louder moments later when Jimmy Pagan flies to the outside and brings down Nitoh via a blockbuster!
M. COTÉ: THE ICWA CALL UP!!!
We jump forward in the competition and Dona Rotten has 7800's shoulders pinned to the canvas.

Xavier LaRoux flies in with a knee drop the break up the count. He pulls Rotten to her feet before sending her into the ring ropes. Rotten shoots out with momentum and reverses LaRoux's tilt-a-whirl at the last minute and locks him into a dragon sleeper, bending him back slowly until she is down on one knee and his back his arched. LaRoux looks like he may be on the brink of tapping out when out of nowhere The Toku Titan forces Rotten to break the hold wih the aid of a floatover neckbreaker.
Nitoh goes on a rampage from this point, basically dominating everyone in his path. He hits 'Gokai-Oh' onto 2600 and 7800 before he is hit by a superKick from Jimmy Pagan. With the crowd behind Equinox he makes a climb to the top rope. Xavier LaRoux leaps onto the second ring cable and takes him with a superplex. He keeps his grip on JP and pulls him back to his feet before planting him in the center of the ring with the falcon arrow(The Perfect Drug).
LaRoux makes the cover but is forced to break his own pinfall when he sees both members of Team A.T.A.R.I. leaping from the top rope. 7800 hits a 450 leg drop and 2600 lands the 450 splash onto Equinox and the crowd loses it and begins a never ending "Holy Shit!" chant.
Dona Rotten grabs 7800 by surprise and connects with the TOXIC SHOCK! Head Scissors Driver. She's taken down shortly after by The Toku Addiction when they deliver a VORTEX SPIRAL to one half of the Republic champions. They battle with Tea A.T.A.R.I. heavily, trading off and reversing each other's double team attempts. Jimmy Pagan hits the superKick on 2600 out of nowhere when he is in mid-air doing a moonsault. The crowd loses their minds.
Jimmy Pagan slams 7800 into the turnbuckle via a vicious german suplex and he jumps up and is getting behind the crowd. He takes time to remove his shirt and throw it into the crowd. Geki sends Pagan, throat first, onto the middle rope with a Head Scissors while Xavier runs along the apron, kneeing Jimmy Pagan in the side of the head. Nitoh lifts Pagan in a back grapple upon contact and slams him with a german suplex. He arches his back and the ref counts,

Maki -vs- Samantha Tolson-Anderson© -vs- Kendrick Kross -vs- Eddy Poe -vs- Brady Vega
The five competitors don't waste a moment. Maki and Poe go straight for Kendrick Kross leaving Brady Vega and Samantha Tolson to exchange blows. The Champ gets the better of the two and ends up clotheslining Vega to the outside. While on the outside, Poe and Maki do a number on the Kross who is fighting back in the dirtiest on fashions. A thumb to the eye of Poe barely stops him but the moment Kross drops down to the canvas and Maki spits the red mist from his mouth it lands in the face of Eddy Poe and that definitely slows him down.
The Chelsea Flier lifts Maki into a fireman's carry and much like before Maki wiggles her way down, having this move scouted from the past. Kross ducks under the Makihoue Kick attempt and then slams Maki to the canvas snap suplex before tranisitioning it into the three amigos. Just as Kross goes for his third suplex The Filthy Angel starts to land powerful nuy thai strikes and kicks to the kidney and lower back area of Kendrick Kross. Samantha Tolson steps u, grabs hold of Eddy Poe and slams him down hard via a snap dragon suplex.

Once Maki enters the ring she straps the belt around her waist and begins setting up the ladder. Kross and Maki try to fight for the belt but she has it around her waist still. Kross picks up the ladder and uses it as a weapon to keep Maki grounded. Kross goes after Toson but Tolson ducks down and slides out of the ring just as a a turnbuckle pad explodes into Kross' face shooting powder out and blinding Kross. Kross swings the ladder around unaware of Sam Tolson leaping from the top rope and hitting him with a cross body! Both of them hit the canvas and roll around in pain.
With Vega and Poe in the penalty box, Tolson and Kross put on a fight for the ages for the next two minutes. Kross ands a variation of suplexes throughout the match keeping Tolson down and showing him why he has been a Pride Champion before. The CHelsea Flier heads to the top rope and attempt a Coup De Gra and is taken out in mid-air by a MakiHouse Kick!
Meanwhile Maki still has the championship belt secured around her waist and is setting up the ladder. She climbs to the top and the penalty box opens up and Eddy Poe and Brady Vega are let free. Vega immediately connects with a spring board dropkick to the ladder and Maki comes crashing down.
We jump forward in the competition and Samantha Tolson has launched just about everyone into the ladder via a suplex of some kind and she now has the championship belt in her hands and is climbing the ladder. She looks as if she is going to latch the belt but instead she places the belt around her waist and jumps off, landing a big splash onto Eddy Poe! She lay their in pain, still hurting unable to move and the ref jumps in to make a count,

He just up and meets Tolson with a crossbody but Tolson catches him in mid-air and instead slams him via a scoop slam. Maki grabs Tolson from behind and locks her into the NextGen Gap!! The crowd pops as Vega and fight on the opposite side of the ring. Kross throws Vega into the ring ropes and dobules over for a back body drop. In the midst of the back body drop Vega transitions the move into a front flip pile driver, "THE MYTH". The crowd explodes with a huge pop. Brady Vega makes it to his feet and is locked in the NextGen Gap by Maki. The crowd pops again and Brady fights like there is no tomorrow. Once he stops fighting as much Maki let's him go and begins climbing the ladder with the Pride Championship in her grasps.
K. MINX: Maki may claim the Pride championship for her second time!

Kendrick inches closer and closer with the belt in his hand.He reaches the top only to have Maki punch him in the stomach and then slam his face against the rung of the ladder. The championship belt fall from his hands leaving Kross and Maki to exchange punches atop the ladder. Brady Vega makes it to his feet and shove the ladder over forcing Kross to flay out of the ring and smack the mats outside meanwhile Maki gets entangled with in the ring ropes which leaves Brady Vega with an opening. He sets up the ladder and starts to climb.
Tolson and Poe are freed from the cage and they hurry into the ring. At the last second just as Brady starts to place the belt onto the ring the ladder is pushed by Marshall Coté and Brady clings into the cable and the table. The crowd goes nuts at Vega swings around in the mid-air.

The Champ gets the better of the two and ends up clotheslining Vega to the outside. While on the outside, Poe and Maki do a number on the Kross who is fighting back in the dirtiest on fashions. A thumb to the eye of Poe barely stops him but the moment Kross drops down to the canvas and Maki spits the red mist from his mouth it lands in the face of Eddy Poe and that definitely slows him down.
The Chelsea Flier lifts Maki into a fireman's carry and much like before Maki wiggles her way down, having this move scouted from the past. Kross ducks under the Makihoue Kick attempt and then slams Maki to the canvas snap suplex before tranisitioning it into the three amigos. Just as Kross goes for his third suplex The Filthy Angel starts to land powerful nuy thai strikes and kicks to the kidney and lower back area of Kendrick Kross. Samantha Tolson steps u, grabs hold of Eddy Poe and slams him down hard via a snap dragon suplex.

Security rushes out to take Marshall Coté out of the ring, Lani comes out to try and help settle the commotion but Brady Vega keeps trash talking Marshall. Eddy, Maki, Kross and Tolson all leave the ring angered and disappointed by the main focus is still Marshall and Brady having a war of words with Lani and other Officials between them.
Brady Vega is finally handed the Pride Championship and he immediately jumps forward and smashes Matshall Coté in the face, busting him open. Lani shouts at Brady as he is escorted away from the ring by security.
