There's always a caveat. Born prodigy in both athletic and scholastic aptitude, I could have been a scientist but at an early age became corrupted by the art of pro wrestling, athletic but undersized and no matter what I do, there is always something. My vibe has always been that nice young man a girl can bring home to her parents but also viewed as a stoner, a pothead, burn out because of my use of cannabis. It's always something, I grew up in Texas which is a hotbed for pro wrestling but being small and nerdy I was fortunate to go into martial arts and gymnastics, build discipline but also find ways to fit socially, plus when you are viewed as that weird small geek, having a self defense background helped out a lot. It has always shocked people how I can fight, I remember adults would either be proud or disappointed. I really was fortunate to be able to graduate early from high school at 13 and I love my parents, my parents allowed a lot of what most parents would not. Your kid is this prodigy and he's going to college for astrophysics but on his free time he's going to pursue professional wrestling?

I try to look back at it at 36, and to see how for others that's crazy and for me it was just my life.
If you want to make things happen, you have to make them happen yourself, that's my experience.
I'm climbing each rung on the ladder in this match, I may not be the biggest, but I have got the brain and the experience to counteract the brawn.
