INT. CW WAREHOUSE – NIGHT
In a vacant CW Warehouse, all the lights are out, but one spotlight shines down on FOUR INDIVIDUALS, all dressed in black ski masks with the octopus tentacles dangling around the mouth and neck area. It’s all black and gun metal colors camo pants, combat boots, and Teflon vests.
The Individual front and center removes his masks and the dreads fall just past the ears. Brady Vega drops below the frame and rises back up quickly with the CW Pride Championship over his shoulder.
“All week long I’ve been hearing it from the Press, from the veterans, …. Hell, even Griffin Hawkins asked me how I planned on defeating Samantha Tolson? Good question…”
Brady takes a deep breath and then exhales.
“…Had any of them actually paid attention and weren’t counting me out they’d realize that I’ve already given the answer. I’ve already shown what Kendrick Kross failed to show. I’ve already done what many in the Immortal Kingdom Crown tournament failed to do. I’ve lifted a mirror and held it in front of Samantha Tolson and she can’t stand even a second of looking at herself.”
“…How do I plan on defeating Tolson at her own game? Well… if you’ve been watching you’ll notice but for those of you who have not…. Welcome to the Science of Sam Tolson. Class is in session.”
“For weeks… no months now, I’ve been battling verbally and on social media back and forth with Doomsday Sam Tolson herself and in the midst of this battle I’ve done nothing prove the point that only those in her inner circle seem to discredit. Yeah, Tolson isn’t a man, she’s far from it. But she’s also not a woman either.”
“Tolson brings up her success and we change up the topic. If we speak on anything that is not about her success, she changes up the topic. You’re trash. Self absorbed and it will be me, the Almighty King of the fucking Mountain that will be there to bitch slap you back into reality. Would you prefer the palm of the backhand? Don’t answer right away, I’ll ask you again when we’re face to face in the squared circle.”
“Over the past month or so, Tolson has done nothing but complain to management how I am disrespectful and bad for business, yet she’s the only one who thinks that way. Sure, her posse made up of trans-people and the mentally ill will blow her head up bigger than a hot air balloon but that’s exactly why I’m here to speak truths that no one else will speak.”
“You see, this match is much more than a championship win for either of us. This is a battle based on all forms of Pride. From the rules of the match to the feelings down within both of our hearts and souls. And let’s focus on that one word….Pride.”
“To Tolson, this means so much more. She’s destined to fail because as usual, she’s got too much on her plate. Her self Pride has put her in a position to fail. Yeah, she’s a multi time champion, she’s always got something to brag about, but again…where does this pride in herself come from? What is she fueled by?”
“Are you ready to see the last straw break the camel’s back?”
Vega spits on the floor.
“When you take a look at the bigger picture you’ll notice, Tolson is in over her head. She’s trying to represent gay pride, her own pride, and a division that she has no business being apart of. When I’m done with her, she’ll complain to management and probably hand them her resignation. You see, she wants to save the world and she can’t even save herself.”
“She’s shook. The monster has awoken and she’s stressed because he’s dressing different and while she’s mad defensive, I’m in my element. I’m in my zone. I have nothing lose and everything to gain. I’m seen as the underdog by the blind, but the wise…? …. The woke?”
“They all know what the future holds. They know I’m about to blow the top off and let it rip. She wants the happy endings, but I got a new flash for her… there are no happy endings only new beginnings and at Coachella the light will shine on a truth. Gossip is venomous, but that shit Tolson has been spitting has no lethality to it.”
“She thinks she can defeat me? For weeks all I’ve heard is that I am going to die or that I was going to be ended. Doomsday... Armageddon… whatever moniker has motivated you or brainwashed you into believing you really stand a chance against a person you’ve already proven you can’t beat straight up, I’m here to peel your eye lids back and reveal your power is about as real Captain America’s physical ability.”
“You’ll soon realize that California Wrestling is entering a new chapter. A New beginning. A New Republic of California.”
The individuals behind him hold up scissors and begin cutting his dreads. The strands fall to the floor piece by piece. Vega takes the barbers clippers and begins cutting his sporadic looking afro. Think Kodak Black.
“We’re finished talking Tolson. You want to end me and why? You want to stop my heart from beating, and why? I’m the biggest threat you’ve ever had to face. Because I’m the one person with enough intelligence to expose you. In seven days we will see if I’m really as lackluster of an opponent as you claim I am.”
“Things are changing, and the only thing destined to end if the belief that Samantha Tolson should be looked up to. If she wants to look down on everyone in front of her then I’ll gladly rise up to her level and look her dead in the eye in hopes of saving her some neck problems.”
“Tolson pretends to fight the good fight, but anyone with a half a brain can see that Tolson is about herself. Winning the Pride championship gives her a chance to brag and boast about how she’s the best in the world and all that bullshit that comes with praise of outsiders other than yourself. You’re built on others opinions and viewpoints baby girl. I’m built on my skills alone. I’ve taken the road less traveled where as Tolson has only catered to the weak spirited and mentally ill and brainwashed them into believing she is their savor.”
“Feminists and Women are two totally different species. And come time for the Hollywood Heritage Festival I’ll shot the difference in a revolutionary and a fraud. Tolson is looking to build off the back of Gay Pride and a Feminist’s movement and while I have no issue with either, I’m looking to tear down everything Samantha Tolson stands for.”
