Ah! You've arrived at last. There's been a lot of trouble around here recently. The forces of Coward's Countouts and Detestable's Disqualifications seem to be combining forces looking to overthrow Patient Pinfall's kingdom as the new legitimate methods of winning.

They aren't willing to get involved because they aren't fond of the Rules of the Ring anymore than the others, but they have no desire to upset the status quo.

How can I hope to stand in this tournament? I've only recently returned myself.

This Hollywood Haters Ball tournament put on by California Wrestling. It could potentially put you in a position to restore some semblance of honor to the Rules.

Other than yourself there are 7 others in this tournament and the brackets are now set. You may not face them all, but your first opponent is certainly Kendrick Kross.

I know the name. I believe I faced him before I left and I hear he's only gotten better since then. If that is truly the case, I'm really going to have a tough fucking time just making it through Round One. But if there's really so much shit at stake then I have to persevere through it all. This Hollywood Haters tournament has a lot riding on it after all. No doubt he realizes the same, but who knows how he'll treat any win… or what he might fucking do to obtain it.

Wrestle Master

You'll need to prepare yourself not just for him, but for the possibility of facing two of the six others. Your next match could possibly be Xion Cross.

Well someone who's been creating some stir I know that much, but it's always been for his own damn personal life rather than what he's accomplishing in the ring. I doubt it's purposeful, but that kind of shit gets to someone and the rest of the business tends to take notice when your accolades aren't about what you can do in the ring. Still if he's here, he's trying to turn that around for himself but if he steps into the ring with me that goal won't be accomplished against me.

Or your second match could be Mike Mason.

The one who calls himself "Marvelous"? But has he actually done anything but talk a lot of shit and complain about shit? So he's got a lot of muscles, big fucking whoop. So does pretty much every guy in this business. So the only thing even potentially "Marvelous" about him is more the size of his mouth than anything else. So obviously he doesn't care about where his win would take the world, only if it helps him. But if he is the one to cross my path, then Geekette David will gladly slay Dumbass Goliath.

Of the remaining four, you will face one in the finals: Kayla Craft, Ch'ang Dong-Geun, Roman Endrizzi.

Cali-Kate

I know Ch'ang and Roman are new to the scene and the business. That doesn't mean they're not good fighters. Hell, since they are newer, that means I'll be seeing them for the first time as will most others. That's not exactly a lot of time to prepare since the Hollywood Haters tournament is only one night. And Kayla Craft is someone who will be desperate to prove herself in this tournament. At least as much as I have to prove. She'll likely be the toughest under Kendrick.

There is one more, your friend Roxi Johnson.

I see. If that's the case then so be it. Three tough challenges lie ahead of me then. Roxi and I may very well face in the finals and if we do it's going to be a hell of a match and at least either of us will keep the peace in the land. But I won't fall easily, not even to a damn good friend.

The 16-bit world fades away and the character of Cali-Kate melts into the form of the real Cali-Kate who walks up to the camera with a smile.

The world famous Geekette Extraordinaire sits in the main room of her mansion in Laguna, cross-legged on the floor as she meditates.

"The future is always in motion and so far everyone in the Hollywood Haters Ball has given their two cents, either on camera or on Twitter, that they will be the ones to come out the winner. How could they possibly know?"

Her eyes open towards the camera.

"Trick question. They don't. They have to say these things because they are trying to convince themselves. Some are delusional, others are fucking egotistic, one is clinging to hope.

"Kendrick Kross is one of the egos. Yes he normally isn't really a bad person. Actually most of the time he's kinda cool really. Someone to be proud to have at the other end of the ring from you. But does he honestly think he's gonna win? I've got fucking more to prove in that ring than he does. He's been doing this. I got back from, you know, popping my son out from between my fucking legs. That was probably a bad image, but the point is I need this. He doesn't and he does know that for sure.

"Then you've got Xion Cross. This guy's head isn't anywhere near shit it needs to be. Easily irritable at just a little poke from others. Is Xion's head troubles something that comes from dating a Rose? Yes I get to say that, one of my mentors married one and knocked her up. Twice. Xion doesn't seem like the kind who fucking rolls over, but the guy needs to find his focus and soon. Or the only thing he's gonna get is…"

Kate makes a whistling sound as she brings a hand up and back down with an explosion sound.

"And this next guy, Mason Mike, Magic Mike, whatever kind of overly compensating fucking douche he crawled from. You know what, how do you even insult this guy? It's like making fun of the mentally deficient. You can't do it without feeling that punch to your own damn gut. He's muscles sure, but I don't know if he's really aware of how any of them work.

"Kayla, Roman and Chang, hate to put these three in a group altogether, but I don't fucking know them. Like at all. Got a few good guesses though: Chang's got a mouth and says a lot of catch phrases and self aggrandizement, Kayla reminds me of the girl who sat in the back of the class with the dark makeup listening to Avril, and Roman, if I'm not mistaken, is the pure rookie looking to make his mark. Hey, we all want to make our fucking mark dude. So get in the ring and go do it. These three, I just don't get it. Actually, Kayla I do get, she's been understated, but Chang and Roman, really you two? I played indie games on mobile devices with more convincing stories than the shit you two sell.

"Which of course brings us back around, full circle one more time, to Roxi. My role model, probably the one person whose opinions really fucking got through to me when I thought about hanging it up after I gave birth. But we're on opposite sides here and I think we will meet in the finals. Definitely meeting? I can't say, but that's what my instincts tell me. But this won't be any less than another damn Civil War, uh Marvel's Civil War that is and let me tell you something, I have a Captain Marvel cosplay and everyone knows what she did to Iron Man in the second Civil War. So get ready for Civil War 3 coming from the Hollywood Haters Ball."

Kate takes in a deep breath and exhales.

"Wow that's a lot. And there's a lot still to prepare for. But whatever it takes, I have to be ready for it. I'm the one with both the most to lose and the most to gain in this tournament, so losing really isn't a fucking option for me. This may be a one life, one entry tournament, but I haven't met the challenge yet I wasn't ready for. War is coming, with all its glory and all its horror.

Coming back and winning a title once more to solidify why he’s the best to ever grace a CW ring? That was something he couldn’t and he definitely wasn’t going to pass up.

Kendrick Hollywood Haters Ball. Eight people enter a one night tournament and one emerges with the Hollywood Heritage Championship. That person? Kendrick Kross. You’re probably wondering how I can be so confident and cocky, well it’s because I’ve been here and done it. When it comes to winning in this company there’s no one better.”[/b]

Kendrick was sitting in his office with the replica CW Pride Championship and a replica CW Heritage Championship. A smirk graced his face as he took a long deep breath. He grabbed them and looked at the front of them both before replacing them back.

Kendrick “That right there shows success. I was the first person to hold two different titles. I held those two titles a combined two hundred plus days here in CW there’s no way I’m letting a third slip away from me.”

Kendrick “Round one I get Cali Kate. I don’t know much about her I’ll admit that. We’re in two feds together now but that’s all I know right now. One thing I can be certain of though is that she’s going to put up a fight. She gets to go up against a CW legend so she is going want to take me out, show the world that she is better than Kendrick Kross. I’m sorry though, my dear. When it comes to this tournament I don’t plan on losing.”

Kendrick leans back in his office chair and throws his hands behind his head and clasps them as he puts his feet up on the mahogany desk of his.

Kendrick “I’m not saying I’m going to win out of cockiness and confidence, we’ll maybe not fully because of that, no. I’m saying it because I have to win this match. I lose in the first round and they’ll wonder if I have what it takes anymore to run CW. There’s no doubt about me winning titles and running CW with Britney. We were the best duo and I am the best wrestler this company has seen in its history. Look at it, Britney or others will say that they were the best and I get it. Did they dominate like I did and did they have a mixed title reign of over 200 days? No. There’s a reason I’m winning this tournament and it’s because I’m hungrier than I’ve been when it comes to it. You may ask how that's possible, well I’ll tell you. That’s possible because I want to prove that when it comes to this tournament and this title I’m the best Hollywood Heritage Champion this company has seen and believe me when I say this. There is nothing and no one that will stand in my way of what I want and need”

Kendrick pulled his feet down from the desk and unclasped his hands as he crossed his arms on the table and looked straight into it.

Kendrick] “Cali Kate these titles aren’t flukes. These titles are proof of what I did in this company and it’s proof why come Tuesday night there’s not going to be any kind of fireworks for you. When I see you in the first round you’ll understand why I make the claims I do because it’s simple. CW is Kendrick Kross’ yard. Cali Kate I want you to bring all you got, bring whatever when it comes down to it when I won’t lose against you or anyone else in my way. Hell when it comes down to it Cali, once I beat you I figure you’ll cut tail and run and I look forward to seeing it. Kendrick Kross next Hollywood Heritage Champion. And you can take that to the movies.”

Kendrick flashes a wink as the cameras slowly fade.
