Eddy’s House - Osaka, Japan
Eddy Poe sat at his home bar, sipping from a glass of scotch, the camera set up in front of him.
“California Wrestling has become… my playground, and I’m quite content with the things i’ve done to-” Suddenly Eddy is cut off by what sounds like a child yelling. Eddy’ 4 year old daughter Nami came running towards the bar. Eddy picked her up and placed her in his lap in front of the camera.
“Hey Nom Nom’s!” Eddy said, making a grunting sound as if she was heavy. “You’re getting so big kiddo.” Eddy chuckled at his young daughter.
“Daddy, who’s Mooki?” Nami asked, turning her head in confusion.
Eddy’s eyes squinted in equal confusion. “Mooki? What are you talking about?”
“You said some lady named Mooki was your sister?” Nami said, Eddy’s eyes lighting up when his daughter’s mistake became clear.
“OHHHHHH, you mean Maki! Kiddo, Maki is your aunt. My sister.” Eddy patted her on the back.
“I have an aunt Mooki?” She said quizzically. She had never realized she had an aunt.
“Yes kiddo. Her and I discovered that her dad is my dad. We're half siblings. She's gonna fight Kendrick Kross for the California Wrestling Pride Championship.” Eddy says pridefully.
Nami clapped her hands excitedly. “Oh! You told me about Kross. He's an asshole. Aunt Mooki should gouge out his eyes and light him on fire!” The 4 year old said as if that wasn't morbid, disturbing, and incredibly graphic for someone her age.
“That's a great idea kiddo! Here, I'll call her later and tell her your big idea. Okay?” Eddy said, patting her on the head, proud of his daughter.
“Yay! When do I get to meet her?” Nami asked, clapping her hands in excitement.
“Tell you what. I'll bring you, Mommy, and your little brother to Horror in the Hills! You can meet Aunt Maki and watch us bleed people like stuffed pigs!” Eddy said, a consummate showman when it came to impressing his 4 year old.
“Who are you fighting daddy?” Nami asked, reaching for her fathers scotch. Eddy pulled it away from her before answering her question.
“Well, let's see… Equinox, Tolson, Ravil, Danger, and Woods! We’ll all be locked in a cage with the Heritage title on the line.” Eddy spoke with enthusiasm.
Nami lit up when she heard “Cage”. “A big cage! Like a hell in a cell?”
“No.”
“Punjabi Prison?”
“No.”
“Triple Cage?”
“Kiddo, this isn't some shitty WCW movie.”
“Elimination Chamber?”
“Good job!” Eddy patted her on the head again. She giggled at his touch.
“Daddy! You should kick em!” Nami said after gasping at her own little eureka!
“Oh kiddo… I'm gonna do a lot more than kick. I'm gonna scrape there faces against the cage walls, I'm gonna slice there skin with broken shards of the pods, I'm gonna toss them off the pods like I'm shoveling coal into the engines of a train, and basically whatever else I wish to do to them. Kiddo, at horror in the hills, I'm gonna make them scream in agony!” Eddy raised his arms in a grand gesture, Nami putting her hands to her cheeks in a gasp.
“Yaaaayyy! Agony!” She shouted excitedly!
“Kiddo, they won't just be locked in a cage. They'll be locked in a cage with me.” He smiled, looking back at the camera finally.
“California wrestling… You guys need to realize something. There is no more control now that I'm here. This has become a hazardous work environment for your entire roster. What was the CEO thinking? Hiring me? Earlier this month, I slammed a man into a pile of meat hooks. Before that, I wrapped a man's head in barbed wire and forearmed him. Before that, I beat a man with a fish that was on fire!” Eddy pontificated to the audience.
“I liked that one.” Nami said, the little pyromaniac.
“Me too kiddo. You guys would dare unleash me into the fold? Are you trying to get people hurt? Do you know who I am?
My name is Eddy Poe… and you'll all learn to be afraid. Be very afraid.”
He grabbed his little girl and carried her away from the camera. She made a throat slitting gesture at the camera before the scene faided away.
