~An A-List Production~
A young woman is running through the woods, screaming for her life. She trips and falls before making it to her knees and shouting out for help.
BRITNEY:
“KENDRY!!!”
She stumbles back to her feet as she hears the revving of a chainsaw behind her in the distance. Now limping, she whimpers along, looking behind her, before running into someone in front of her. With a scream, she opens her eyes to see that it’s her boyfriend, Kendrick.
BRITNEY:
“Kendry you scared me to death! They’re after us, we’re going to die. We’re both going to die!”
KENDRICK:
“We’ve gotta get out of here!”
Kendrick grabs her arm and quickly runs away from the sound of the chainsaw in the distance, although it gets a bit closer with each step.
KENDRICK:
“This better not be a remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre! That didn’t end well for anyone! We’ve got to get to safety, Britney! Hurry!”
Kendrick starts to slow down and ends up stopping, with Britney still behind him. The sound of the chainsaw has gone away, thinking they’re safe they both catch their breath. Though it turns out to not be a good choice as the chainsaw has now came back on, but from the opposite direction!
BRITNEY:
“Kendry there are two of them, two underachieving, ugly, chainsaw wielding maniacs are behind AND in front of us! What are we going to do?”
As the chainsaw holders close in on both sides of them, they are wearing facepaint to match California Wrestling stars Equinox and Eddy Poe. The two would be killers stop next to the beautiful young couple as Britney clings to Kendrick’s arm, tears streaming down her face.
BRITNEY:
“I love you and I wish we could have gotten married! I just want to wake up from this nightmare!”
Kendrick turns his head to their left and spots an old, what appears to be abandoned house. Britney follows Kendrick’s gaze and her eyes widen.
BRITNEY:
“Do you think we can make it?”
KENDRICK:
“We’re going to get married! The two ugly maniacs aren’t going to stop us or hurt us!”
Kendrick looks at the abandoned house and then looks at the two maniacs. Kendrick then looks back at Britney and looks back at the house. He runs it through his head and knows they can make it.
KENDRICK:
“Yes! I am sure we are going to make it. No way they stop us!”
Kendrick grabs Britneys arm as they run towards the old house. They run into the house and slam the door shut on the two men. They take a deep breath and turn around, the first room of the house turns out to be a place where chainsaws are hanging from the ceiling. This causes Kendrick to pause and look out of one of the dusty windows.
KENDRICK:
“This must be where they got the chainsaws from! Do you think they know how to get in?”
Kendrick looks at the lock on the door and turns it, locking themselves in, hoping there isn’t another entrance. Britney meanwhile is going through a wood crate in the room. She holds up a few red sticks of some sort, clearly dynamite, but she doesn’t know it.
BRITNEY:
“Babe, what’s this?”
Kendrick looks at Britney wide eyed and then looks at the sticks of dynamite she is holding. He pauses and slowly walks over towards her.
KENDRICK:
“Babe, don’t move a muscle. That would be dynamite.”
BRITNEY:
“I have a book of matches in my back pocket.”
Britney nods her head towards the back of her daisy duke shorts.
BRITNEY:
“Reach into my pocket, pull out the matches. We can light the dynamite and escape through that window and beat these guys!”
One of the chainsaws rip through the old wooden front door, and it’s just a matter of time before they make it to the room where Britney and Kendrick are hiding out in.
BRITNEY:
“Kendry we have to hurry!”
Britney was panicking, her breath spotty as she was panting, nervously holding the two unlit sticks of dynamite. Kendrick reaches into the back pocket of Britney’s Daisy Dukes and pulls out the book of matches. He hears the chainsaw going through the door and looks back at it seeing the splintering of the door.
KENDRICK:
“Okay, we’ve got to really do this now. Just calm your breathing, panting isn’t exactly safe while holding dynamite.”
He lights one of the sticks and quickly walks over to the window. He breaks the glass, cutting himself in the process. A trail of blood trickles down his arm as Britney screams. Kendrick lights the second stick of dynamite as the wick begins burning towards Britney’s hand.
KENDRICK:
“As soon as they make their move, we have to make ours. Okay?”
BRITNEY:
“Okay.”
The chainsaw rips through the door to the room they are in as Britney shrieks. She drops one stick and hands the other to Kendrick. Kendrick pushes Britney towards the broken window with one hand, holding the dynamite in the other.
KENDRICK:
“Hurry up! Get out of the house, babe! I’ll wait for a minute!”
Kendrick quickly pushes Britney up and out of the house. He waits for both of the men to enter the room before dropping the second stick and he quickly hops out of the house. He grabs Britney’s hand and pulls her down through the woods as the house blows up! The two run deeper into the woods for safety as they finally collapse in a pile of leaves.
BRITNEY:
“That’s it? It’s all over? We beat them?”
Britney still seems in a panic, although Kendrick rubbing her arm seems to start to help her steady her breathing.
BRITNEY:
“Did we REALLY just blow them up?”
With all of the recent drama about explosions in California Wrestling, Britney can’t help but break character a bit in her role for this short film as she winks at the camera, but then puts back on her tear filled pout face, looking up at Kendrick who quickly breaks character after Britney does as he laughs a bit but then gets back to his serious self. He takes a deep breath and looks at Britney with her pouty face.
KENDRICK:
Yes babe, we REALLY blew them up! We won this battle for sure! Those two chainsaw freaks won’t be bothering us anymore that’s for sure.”
Kendrick wraps his arm around Britney and gives her a kiss. They both look at the camera and let out a small smirk.
KENDRICK:
“This has been an A-List Production. The characters are TOTALLY fictional in this short movie.”
Kendrick says the last part of the statement with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
The movie credits then roll as the camera slowly fades to black.
